Georgian culture can without exaggeration be called one of the most remarkable. Hot dances, beautiful songs and shocking pictures have become an integral part of the country. Wishes to touch the best examples of national culture can visit the Tbilisi Theatre, named after Rustaveli.

The first mention of the theater can be traced to 1872, when the State Drama Theater was opened in the capital of Georgia. The name of the writer of genius theater was given only in 1921. It should be noted that the first troupe to setting national Georgian pieces gathered Count Vorontsov himself.

Today, the theater is housed in an artistic community, erected in 1899. The outer part of the theater is decorated with unique paintings, reflecting different moments of the traditional Georgian pieces.
