Construction Abul Kasim madrassah was conducted on donations and a highly respected citizen - Sheikh Abulkasym. In 1850 the building was attached to the sanctuary, where the XVIII century Muslim shrine was kept - the hair from the beard of Muhammad. Madrasah built in traditional oriental style of the XIX century. High storey portal, flanked by three and a half arched niches and turrets guldasta with turquoise domes.

 

Thanks Abulkasym-Eshoni was averted armed suppression of cholera riots. He persuaded the Turkestan Governor-General in the non-participation of ordinary people. The peace treaty signed with the Russian Empire, was signed with the support of Abulkasym.
